The American Heart Association CPR/AED Certification class is designed for individuals who need formal training and credentials to respond to cardiac emergencies in the workplace, on the job site, or in public settings. This course is ideal for employees, supervisors, managers, safety teams, coaches, security personnel, educators, and anyone whose role may require emergency response readiness.
Participants will learn how to quickly recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR for adults, (children, and infants optional), and confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The course also includes choking response procedures and emphasizes scene safety, teamwork, and clear decision-making during high-stress situations.
This is a certification course that meets American Heart Association guidelines. Upon successful completion, participants receive an official AHA eCard, validating their training and compliance with industry and organizational requirements.
Training is hands-on, practical, and scenario-based, focusing not just on how to perform CPR, but when and why to act. Students leave with the confidence to respond effectively during the critical 3–11 minutes before advanced medical help arrives.
Cardiac emergencies don’t wait for perfect conditions. The AHA CPR/AED Certification class ensures your people are trained, prepared, and empowered to act, because preparedness saves lives.
Each student that enrolls for any class involving CPR must be physically capable of bending their legs and have full range of motion of their arms. Participants should expect to be on their knees for an extended period of time throughout the course instruction. Performing CPR requires strength and good physical health as it could be physically challenging for some students. Wear comfortable stretchy clothing.
